Broker Overview

The 2027 Canados Gladiator 571 Blade represents a compelling new build opportunity for a discerning owner seeking a high-performance, luxury day cruiser with significant customization potential. At 57 feet, this vessel bridges the gap between a pure center console and a more substantial express cruiser, offering impressive speed capabilities exceeding 50 knots with various diesel engine options. What sets the 571 Blade apart is its blend of innovative design and practical luxury. The collaboration between Canados Engineering and Satura Studio has yielded a forward-thinking layout, including a unique reverse swim platform sofa, integrated foredeck seating, and a generous tender garage – features not commonly found in this segment. The single-level circulation onboard enhances usability, while the robust fiberglass construction promises durability. As a new build, the primary advantage here is the ability to tailor the interior layout, finishes, and equipment to your precise specifications, ensuring the yacht perfectly aligns with your intended use. This is a chance to acquire a bespoke, high-quality Italian-built vessel without navigating the compromises often inherent in the pre-owned market. While the 'Contact for Price' indicates a premium offering, the value proposition lies in the combination of performance, luxury, and personalization.

Expert Review

The Canados Gladiator 571 Blade, as a new build, offers a blank canvas for a buyer who values performance and bespoke luxury. Canados has a strong reputation for build quality, utilizing advanced hull construction and high-end materials. Expect a solid, well-engineered vessel capable of handling varied sea conditions, particularly given its center console lineage and impressive speed potential. The design emphasizes user-friendliness and circulation, which will contribute to a comfortable experience underway and at anchor. For a new build, the primary 'look for' during a survey will be meticulous attention to detail during the construction process, ensuring all systems are installed to spec and finishes meet the high standards expected from a Canados. Comparables might include high-end day cruisers from brands like Wally or Technohull, though the 571 Blade offers a distinct blend of classic lines and innovative features. The value for money here is in the ability to create a truly personalized yacht, built to modern standards, rather than adapting to an existing layout or older technology.

Full Listing Description

The vessel referenced is not currently constructed and is offered as a new build opportunity. Construction will commence upon execution of a binding shipyard build agreement. Specifications, equipment, pricing, and delivery timelines are subject to change and final confirmation by the shipyard.

The Canados Gladiator 571 Blade is a forward-thinking day cruiser built with a blend of classic design and innovative features. It incorporates a reverse swim platform sofa, built-in foredeck seating, and a user-friendly layout for effortless movement onboard. This 57-foot yacht boasts impressive performance with various engine options exceeding 50 knots. Luxury meets technology with high-end finishes, custom components, and advanced hull construction. Surprisingly spacious for a day cruiser, the 571 Blade offers a tender garage, a protective windshield, and the ability to customize the interior with your preferred layout and materials.

The design of the Gladiator 571 Blade is the result of a close collaboration between Canados Engineering and young Roman design firm Satura Studio. We extrapolated the design from the Gladiator 493. While retaining the family style, we incorporated new features such as the reversed sofa above the swimming platform, cockpit’s side fenders lockers, built-in foredeck reversed armchairs and a generous tender garage. The one-piece designed hardtop and double curve windshield was also not easy task to create.

Circulation onboard was a priority with only one step from the aft sun pad to the foredeck and a fully stepless cockpit. The base version will run an honorable 37 knots / 43 mph with only twin MAN 850 HP engines up to well over 50 knots depending on the chosen power package. With a plan to offer this model with three different propulsions, shafts, surface shafts, and outboards, tank testing sessions were conducted at 30, 35, 40, 50, 55 and well above 60 knots to make sure handling was optimized at all speeds.

The 571 Blade is entirely built of vacuum-bagged E-Glass while all components are made of carbon fiber. The true quest stands in reaching the best possible hull finesse, comfort, and efficiency. Apart from the comfort of its exterior layout, the Gladiator 571 Blade calls for the best components available on the market. And what we can’t find with an A+ supplier, we have it custom-made. As well, the Gladiator 571 is entirely painted in Awlgrip ®.

As much as the Gladiator 571 Blade is a pure day-cruiser, she can be used for serious cruising, thanks to the comfort and volume of her interiors, the presence of a tender garage for a 2,80-meter jet RIB, and an integral double curved windshield that will protect the cockpit even in adverse weather.

Her interior layout and comfort do not limit the boat to short cruises. We opted for a somehow automotive interior style while still allowing our carpenters enough latitude to express their art in the details and unlimited choices of wood essence. Here too, the Gladiator’s philosophy is to let an owner express him/herself in the style, décor, material, colors, or fabrics of his/her boat. As part of the standard, the Gladiator 571 Blade is offered with three different layouts, with no supplement.
