The construction, fit and finish and hardware on the Dirigo were all designed to be a notch up from the rest of the Sabre product line. Notably the custom cast stainless deck hardware, the detail in the interior joiner work--even a full Miele appliance package in the galley and the Sub Zero's on the bar deck. 

The Dirigo also offers forward thinking in technology through out the boat. There is a C Zone system for full ships control and monitoring through iPads located n the salon and master, power actuated salon entry doors, side door and side windows--none of which are found in the rest of the product line. 

Handling the Dirigo by a couple has proven been manageable. Wide walk arounds, side doors, IPS Joystick control with position hold and plenty of storage are features that make operating the vessel a breeze.

The Sabre 66 Dirigo is the largest downeast style cruiser manufactured in the US. Whirl Away has seen the best in care since she rolled out of Sabre Yachts facility in downeast Maine. Very lightly used, but kept by a knowledgeable captain and crew since purchased just a few years ago. Indoor stored when not in use and professionally maintained. Whirl Away is not a boat to be missed!
