This Ranger Tug bristles with features that make it clear she was designed and built by people who not only use boats but actually live aboard them. This is a boat designed by cruisers for cruisers.
The R-29 S Luxury Edition is a full mid-cabin cruiser with sleeping accommodations for six adults. Both the forward stateroom and the mid-cabin have privacy doors. Further, the forward stateroom has a full head with standard electric toilet, shower, vanity and sink.
As with every Ranger Tug, the cabin of the R-29 is extraordinarily bright and open and well ventilated with windows all around for excellent 360° visibility and ease of allowing all passengers to comfortably absorb the passing scenery.
Aside from the single, forward-facing helm seat, the entire starboard side of the cabin is devoted to counter space for the most usable and practical galley layout bisected by a double stainless sink with hot and cold pressure water and swivel faucet.
The standard single Yanmar 260 hp diesel inboard engine gives the R-29 a cruising speed of about 17 mph with a top speed in the low twenties.
The Ranger Tugs R-29 is indeed a unique boat. It is not only solid and well built, but it is attention-grabbing in that it looks different from almost all of the others. And if your boating intentions include efficient, relaxing cruising with all of the amenities at hand, then the R-29 can most assuredly fulfill your objectives.

«Yacht Access found my first Hatteras for me over twenty-five years ago; since then they have helped me buy and sell four more boats – and become great friends. Their service during the sale is great, but their service after the sale they is exceptional – without the knowledge and guidance provided by Yacht Access I would never have had such a pleasurable ownership experience. The staff at DDYS knows everyone in the boat business and helped me find the best service and supply vendors to take care of my boats – I could not have owned five boats without them!»
