With its spacious accommodations, comfortable cruising speed, and extensive range, the Diesel Duck 41-Plus is the perfect vessel for bluewater cruising, liveaboard living, or extended voyages.
The Diesel Duck is a steel-hulled long-distance trawler that has won numerous People's Choice awards at TrawlerFest events. While each vessel is truly a custom build, this particular hull, 2009 Diesel Duck 41-Plus “Zeta” is in excellent condition and has been well-maintained by just 2 owners since she was constructed.
Following construction, Zeta was shipped by the original owner from Turkey to Florida and after limited use, was sold and and eventually brought over to San Diego to cruise the West Coast. As the story often goes, the current owner’s plans have changed, and so this offering will make a great opportunity for the next owner.
If you are looking for a rugged, elegant, and seaworthy vessel that can take you anywhere in the world, the Diesel Duck 41-Plus is a great choice for you. She features a full displacement steel passagemaker hull, a Volvo Penta diesel engine, and a sail assist with a balanced rig and furling sails for additional/secondary propulsion and added stability.
With a reported range of 2,188 miles at 7 knots, Zeta is the perfect vessel for long-distance cruising. Zeta is equipped with a variety of navigation and safety equipment, including radar, autopilot, bowthruster, as well as a watermaker. Her spacious and comfortable accommodations include a well-protected pilothouse, a luxurious owner's aft stateroom, a spacious forward head, and an ample longitudinal galley.
In 2021, the current owner had the bottom wet sanded and applied two coats of black Peta Trinidad 1871. Additionally, Zeta received new zincs, a new 2" shaft, cutless bearings on both sides of the stern tube, a PSS system, and the removal of the dripless bearing water injection.

«When things weren't working out with my previous Yacht Broker, a friend of mine suggested that I contact Yacht Access to sell my Sea Ray. I contacted Dan Paolillo at Yacht Access and there was absolutely no pressure. After our initial conversation Dan followed up with a list of comparable vessels recently sold and a list of similar vessels currently available with asking prices. After looking over the information we decided on an asking price and within 90 days Dan had my yacht under contract. Two weeks later it was sold. Since then we've kept in close touch and will hopefully be closing on my next vessel soon. After no success selling my 48' Sea Ray Sedan Bridge with my previous broker, calling Yacht Access was the best decision I ever made. I would encourage anyone looking to buy or sell to contact these professionals.»
