Vessel Walk-Thru
The salon is entered via a hinged centerline teak door at the forward of the cockpit area. As you step into the salon you are immediately taken with large windows that completely surround the salon area and provide outstanding views and plenty of natural lighting. The interior is finish in a stunning golden Burmese teak with a satin finish. The joiner work is of excellent quality with every piece of wood finished like fine furniture. The sole throughout the boat is teak and holly.
The focal point of the salon is the large L-shaped settee fwd on port that is wrapped in a ivory colored leather. There is a beautiful teak table with wooden inlay mounted on a large stainless-steel base. This base has a large handle that rotates to allow the table to drop down and act as the filler to convert the settee into a double berth. At the aft end of the settee is a built-in teak table with a set of three drawers below.
On the opposite side of the salon and aft is the U-shaped galley. While compact in size, the galley is packed with great features like a two burner stove with oven; deep stainless steel sink; solid surface counter tops; Norcold refrigerator & freezer; and storage above and below the counter.
Forward of the galley on starboard is the helm. The helm area is simply and well executed. The raised helm seat finished in the ivory leather and will expand 12" to create a double seat. There is a flip-up teak footrest for comfort and convenience. The helm itself features all necessary instruments close at hand including an overhead panel for gauges and additional electronics. The wheel is a classic teak ship's wheel with turned spindles. It should be noted that visibility from the helm is outstanding thru 360 degrees of view. It should be noted that there are four large slide windows in the salon and one overhead opening hatch, which is above the helm seat.
Forward of the salon, thru a beautiful teak louvered door and down three steps is the stateroom area. The berth is a full size queen on centerline and features a foam mattress. There are hull side shelves port and starboard of the berth with built-in storage lockers. Beneath the berth, there are four drawers at the aft end and two large access hatches under the mattress for air conditioning and bow thruster access. Additional storage is found in the built-in steps, port and starboard of the berth. His and her hanging lockers are aft on either side and have cedar lining, are lighted and have shelves above. There is excellent natural ventilation for the area with a large overhead hatch and total of four opening ports.
The head and shall shower are located in the stateroom area too. The head is located aft to port and features solid surface counter with built-in sink, electric flush china-bowl head, open port, and storage lockers above and below the counter. Opposite on stbd is the stall shower with molded in seat, large storage locker, opening port and beutiful teak seat and shower sole grate.
The interior of the 32 Gourmet Cruiser provides the comforts of home while on the water all wrapped in beautiful teak finished to a level you would expect in a boat twice this size. Halvorsen has outdone themselves with this effort.

«Yacht Access found my first Hatteras for me over twenty-five years ago; since then they have helped me buy and sell four more boats – and become great friends. Their service during the sale is great, but their service after the sale they is exceptional – without the knowledge and guidance provided by Yacht Access I would never have had such a pleasurable ownership experience. The staff at DDYS knows everyone in the boat business and helped me find the best service and supply vendors to take care of my boats – I could not have owned five boats without them!»
