3rd Owner, Freshwater, Super Clean Sun Dancer that shows very well!
Brokers Notes: WOW! This is a must see, this is one of the nicest 1993 Dancers I've had the pleasure of showing. Huge 14-foot beam, massive helm station, enormous amounts of seating in the cockpit, privacy sliding doors in the two estate rooms, separate shower, just a fantastic layout for a yacht this size.
At 47 feet in length, the Sea Ray 440 Sundancer looks more like a cruise liner than a sport yacht. Then again, it has almost as much room. On deck is a spacious cockpit with ample bench seating for friends and family - perfect for relaxing in the sun. There's also a wet bar for refreshment on those hot summer days. Just a few steps below, more relief from the sun comes in the form of an inviting salon with a convertible nine-foot sofa and air conditioning. In the master stateroom, there's a queen-sized bed. And for the chef, the fully equipped galley has everything needed to fix a late-night snack or a full course meal.
POWERBOAT GUIDE DESCRIPTION: One of the largest American-built express yachts of her era, the 420 Sundancer (called the 440 Sundancer in 1992–95) took Sea Ray styling and luxury to the next level when she was introduced in 1990. With her powerful lines, spacious cockpit, and expansive two-stateroom interior the 420/440 Sundancer was further evidence of Sea Ray’s dominance in the express cruiser market. She’s built on a deep-V hull with a solid fiberglass bottom and a wide 13-foot, 11-inch beam. (Note that the 440’s hull has prop pockets while the original 420 hull did not.) Below decks, the Sundancer’s wide-open interior is a blend of curved bulkheads, white Formica cabinets, and light oak woodwork. Pocket doors provide privacy for both staterooms, and the step-down mid-cabin features a vanity and concealed portable head. Topside, the cockpit is arranged with a triple companion seat at the helm, wet bar, and U-shaped lounge seating aft. In 1994 the original sliding cabin windows were replaced with oval ports. Twin 330hp MerCruiser V-drive gas inboards cruise at 17–18 knots (low-to-mid 20s top), and 300hp Cat (or Cummins) diesels cruise at 20 knots. Optional 425hp Cats top out in the high 20s.
