This boat is Bluewater proven, we purchased the vessel from a yacht industry exec who sailed the boat from France -> Bahamas -> Caribbean -> Panama -> through the canal -> up to Mexico -> to Hawaii -> up to Alaska -> then down the whole west coast to Los Angeles.

He single-manned the boat through this whole journey. Since we purchased the vessel, she has been used primarily for coastal day cruising and weekend Catalina trips.

1. Easy to sail: even at 52 ft, this boat is rigged for a single-man sailing operation. I have personally sailed to Catalina multiple times by myself.

2. Sleeping Accommodations: This boat has 4 staterooms and sleeps 8 comfortably in beds (2 double cabins and 2 bunk rooms w/ 2 bunks each). In addition, the vessel has 2 heads and a front storage locker that could be converted into a crew quarters.

3. NEW motor - This boat has a brand new Yanmar 85hp Turbo Diesel. We re-powered this boat 2 years ago and since then we have barely used the boat. The motor was purchased from Boatswains Locker (Yanmar dealer in Costa Mesa) and installed by C.C. Marine Services (Yanmar certified mechanic in Marina del Rey).

4. Bluewater Capabilities - Whether you take this boat offshore or not, it is one of the safest Bluewater boats ever made. It has a Kevlar-enforced hull that adds to the impact resistance while at sea. Next time you're at a boat show, go downstairs and look through the fiberglass, these new boats are so thin, that the sun goes right thru them. Plus, the vessel comes with an 8 man offshore life raft in case of an emergency. It also has AIS.

5. Sailing Capabilities - This boat is fast not only under sail, but the 85ph motor w/ the 52 LOA can get this boat motoring at 10-11 knots. This makes getting back and forth from the SoCal islands fast and fun when there is little or no wind. The new main sail gets this boat moving. The mast has a tall rig (69') which would make it a great weekend race boat as well.
