OVERVIEW

Reverie is an 'over-the-top' example of the classic Tartan 31. She is equipped with many upgrades, all top quality, which puts her in a class all by herself. Some of the major upgrades include a 2009 3 cylinder Yanmar diesel with 700 hours, (50% more horsepower than the standard 2 cylinder engine), Pentex working sails (main and genoa), Solent jib with Facnor continuous line furler, North Sails spinnaker with removeable carbon fiber sprit, 5 AGM batteries, 100 watt solar system, windlass, Raymariine e125 12" GPS/Radar, Balmor 110 amp alternator, Mastervolt 100 amp inverter/charger and Sea Frost 12 volt refrigerator. The list of 'top shelf' items goes on and on down to the faucets and rigging blocks.

The current owners purchased Reverie in 2018 and have sailed her around Cape Cod, the Islands and Narragansett Bay for six seasons. With the recent addition of the second furling inner jib, the solar system and the windlass she is ready for comfortable coastal cruising. Each winter she has been stored in a climate controlled boat shop and her exterior teak has been sanded and varnished.

The owners are phasing out of sailing and switching to power boating. They have loved this boat and it shows.

Quotes from Practical Sailor:

''The 31 is a classic Tartan medium-displacement cruiser with lots of power for performance and as many amenities as can be worked into 26 feet of waterline."

"All in all, the 31 offers a stable platform and a blend of good looks and blue water function."

"Tartan has a reputation for solid construction and good workmanship and that's what the 31 is: solid and well put together."

Quotes from New Wave Yacht brokers:

"The nicest Tartan 31 we have seen."

"One of the cleanest best kept boats I've seen in ages."
