Convertible Boats

The 1987 Ocean Yachts 48’ Super Sport was one of Ocean’s best-selling models. Plenty of interior space with a 2-stateroom and 2-head layout, washer/dryer, downstairs galley, and spacious salon make the interior of this boat very comfortable. The cockpit has plenty of room for fishing or leisure, and a flybridge to match making this convertible model great for fishing, cruising, and/or living aboard.

This Super Sport’s Detroit 671 TIB.S engines were rebuilt in 2017 and have 120 hours on them since their major overhaul. They have a total of 2900 hours overall. All oil and filters have been changed, heat exchangers for both the engines and the transmission coolers were serviced, new batteries installed, and a new Reverso oil exchange pump has been installed. She cruises at an easy 18-19 knots at 1700-1800 RPMS and will do 25 knots at 2450 RPMs (WOT).

The 11kW Westerbeke generator was also rebuilt in 2017 and has 130 hours SMOH. It has also just had the starter and alternator replaced recently and runs the entire ships systems.
