Updates include a full salon make over with custom bar and storage cabinets-pullouts and large screen TV on lift. Galley updates and new start batteries port & starboard (2022).
The spacious layout of this yacht made it unique from the build. She became even more customized when updated by the current owners, who lived onboard for the past 12 years. They took it to another level with amazing upgrades and impeccable design elements. They turned it into a home, with every amenity and detail considered for livability and comfort.
The M/Y Cupecoy was built with an exposed, fair-weather flybridge/helm space, protected only by a canvas bimini forward of the radar arch. The current owners immediately remodeled this into an all-weather upper deck and entertainment space, protected by a custom made fiberglass hardtop with isinglass side curtains. This is the isinglass currently being replaced with EZ2cy.
The enclosed upper galley includes a credenza with refrigerator, ice maker, dishwasher and an outdoor gas grill. A large settee with multi position tables that can configure to one long 8’ table, or separate smaller ones - it’s a dream for entertaining, dining, buffet serving or as your game/puzzle table. The accompanying photos show the versatility.
Forward of the entertainment dinette is a complete helm with two new Stidd Seats, all your electronics and chart tables.
A complete refit of the salon includes new leather furniture, custom cabinetry, a TV lift, designer window treatments and a bamboo hardwood floor border surrounding a recessed carpet. The salon provides an inviting and comfortable indoor space for living and dining as an alternative to the upper deck. In addition, the salon has an aft deck on the same level - offering extended outdoor space.
The lower cockpit has the ultimate ease of access to the engine room through a walk-in door.
The main galley is on the deck level adjacent to the salon offering just enough privacy but access for serving. The U shaped galley has full size appliances, plenty of counter, storage space and a dinette .
The master and two guest staterooms are accessed through the salon staircase and the forward staterooms are accessed through the pilothouse helm area.
The full beam master is accessed through the salon staircase and boasts an ensuite head , double closets, built in bureaus and a perfectly planned layout.
The two guest staterooms are isolated from the master by a hallway and accessed through the salon area. These feature side by side twins, one with a dedicated ensuite head, and one utilizing the day head in the companion way. Both have hanging closets storage. The forward Crews Quarters consist of two staterooms. The current owners set this up as their office and a storage area but it can easily be reorganized as a crew or guest quarters.
This was the largest in the fleet at the time for Hatteras Yachts. There were seven built and only five with this wide body, full width salon.
The current owners have enjoyed 12 wonderful, adventure filled years living onboard this yacht. They traveled the east coast of the U.S. from Cape Cod to Key West and the Bahamas. They are now ready to venture different waters and to do so, are selling what has long been their home.

«When things weren't working out with my previous Yacht Broker, a friend of mine suggested that I contact Yacht Access to sell my Sea Ray. I contacted Dan Paolillo at Yacht Access and there was absolutely no pressure. After our initial conversation Dan followed up with a list of comparable vessels recently sold and a list of similar vessels currently available with asking prices. After looking over the information we decided on an asking price and within 90 days Dan had my yacht under contract. Two weeks later it was sold. Since then we've kept in close touch and will hopefully be closing on my next vessel soon. After no success selling my 48' Sea Ray Sedan Bridge with my previous broker, calling Yacht Access was the best decision I ever made. I would encourage anyone looking to buy or sell to contact these professionals.»
